SC14 Archive
This year SC archives companion materials at the conference website. This webpage contains the peer-review materials accepted to several Technical Programs as well as the links to several workshops. This webpage will remain in place after the conference ends.
Technical Program Posters
The SC14 Technical Posters Program included research and educational posters. The program received 193 regular and education poster submissions, which covered a wide variety of research topics in HPC. The Poster Committee reviewed the submissions and selected 76 posters that are archived in this webpage, reflecting an average acceptance rate below 40%. Click here to see the Technical Program Posters.
ACM Student Research Competition Posters
SC14 hosted the ACM Student Research Competition (SRC) Poster Program, where 23 student-developed posters selected after a rigorous peer-review process from 44 submissions were on display and competed for the best graduate and undergraduate student poster awards. The selected posters are archived in this webpage. Click here to see the ACM Student Research Competition Posters.
Doctoral Showcase
The SC14 Doctoral Showcase received 44 submissions that underwent rigorous peer review. As a result of this competitive process, 16 students were selected to present their PhD research in the Showcase. Click here to see the Doctoral Showcase.
Visualization & Data Analytics Showcase
A new format for the Visualization and Data Analytics Showcase Program at SC14 provided a forum for the year's most instrumental movies in HPC. Six finalists competed for the Best Visualization Award. Click here to see the Visualization & Data Analytics Showcase finalists.
Workshops
SC14 included nearly 30 full-day and half-day workshops that complemented the overall Technical Program events, expanded the knowledge base of its subject area, and extended its impact by providing greater depth of focus. The workshops covered a broad range of subjects that address a variety of large-scale computing challenges, software engineering, dealing with very large amounts of data, visualization, algorithms, programming tools and techniques, and the application of HPC in new domains.
