SC14 Tech Program Open for Business!

Trish DamkrogerAs general chair of SC14, I'm delighted to welcome you to the first of our monthly newsletters. Although we are still many months away from November, the conference team has already been working for over a year to ensure that this year's conference is the best ever! As we head towards the conference, this monthly update will keep you up to date on our different themes, upcoming events, and deadlines. We hope you find this a reliable resource for all things SC14.

This month we are highlighting the opening of the SC14 Technical Program, the leading venue for presenting the highest quality original research, from the foundations of HPC to its emerging frontiers.

In particular for SC14, we are providing more opportunities to showcase your work in the growing areas of Data Analytics and Visualization. Not only are we encouraging more submissions across the Tech Program, we are introducing a revamped Visualization and Data Analytics Showcase including an award for best Visualization.

We look forward to everyone's participation to showcase today's most innovative and pioneering HPC research and practices which continue to make a significant impact in science, economic growth and in our day to day lives.

Trish Damkroger
SC14 General Chair
