Improving Productivity and Portability in HPC Using the ArrayFire Library

SESSION: Software for HPC

EVENT TYPE: Exhibitor Forums

TIME: 4:00PM - 4:30PM

SESSION CHAIR: Jerome Vienne

Presenter(s):Shehzan Mohammed

ROOM:291

ABSTRACT:

ArrayFire is a an Open Source scientific computing library with a focus on portability and ease of use. ArrayFire's various compute backends and language bindings allow users to run highly performant code on CPUs, GPUs, FPGAs, accelerators, and other multi-core processors using a programming language of their choice.

In this presentation we will show how you can use the same high level code to get high performance across various systems and architectures. We will also demonstrate the modular nature of ArrayFire allows it to quickly adopt to newer architectures in the future.
