DESCRIPTION;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:ABSTRACT: Interviewing is a vital part of any career and is often a new and challenging experience for students and those looking to enter the workforce.  This session will be split into two parts, a panel on interviewing followed by the opportunity to partake in mock interviews.  The panel will contain members from a variety of organizations including industry, government, and academia and discuss important topics in interviewing for those new to the practice.  Experts on the panel will discuss best practices in interviewing especially in the highly technical area of HPC.  The opening part of the session will cover general interviewing  and then allow time for questions.  The second half of the session will match participants with volunteer interviewers for a short series of mock interviews.  These short interviews will give attendees a chance to gain one-on-one experience interviewing and allow participants to receive constructive feedback.  Participants, bring your resumes!
