SC14 Posts Two of Five #HPCMatters Videos
Posted on Wednesday, November 12, 2014
SC14 has posted two #HPCMatters videos in a five-video campaign.
This first video shares the ways supercomputers are helping scientists to understand climate change, and develop solutions to mitigate its effects. The second video reveals how high performance computing (HPC) is helping us to improve our everyday lives to create better, more efficient, more cost effective products and services, from toothpaste to diapers to dish soap.
High performance computing (HPC) is helping to solve the hardest problems in the world, and this new campaign is revealing how HPC Matters through a short series of videos. Keep an eye out for the next three videos. They’ll be released as we get closer to Conference week.
Many thanks to our partners from Lawrence Berkeley National Lab, Lawrence Livermore National Lab, MIT, NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory, NASA Ames Research Center, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), and Procter and Gamble.
